No one knows your strategy — not even your top leaders
Even if you have a strategy research suggests three-quarters of your people still won’t be able to identify your organisation’s top three priorities.
If they don’t know what your priorities are, then what are they working on?
When executives see results like this their instinct is to fire off an email reminding everyone of the strategy. Yet this is unlikely to solve the problem.
The same research suggests (see picture above) that nearly half the top team —in other words, those responsible for crafting the organisation’s strategy — don’t know the organisations top three priorities either!
